MePlease Launches First National Campaign with PizzaExpress

Today we’re VERY proud to announce the official launch of MePlease here in the UK!  We’ll be working with PizzaExpress, the UK’s favourite high-street pizzeria in an upcoming national campaign.

PizzaExpress will be using MePlease as their interactive mobile and social voting platform during the final round of their ‘Create Your Pizza Challenge’, which drew 50,000 entries since the competition opened.

Through on-table displays in every PizzaExpress from October 18th, you can text-in your vote for one of the five finalist pizzas you want to exclusively see on the menu using MePlease. Once you text-in, you’ll also be able to post your vote directly to Facebook, which will enable easy viral and word-of-mouth sharing.

Steve Jarrett, our CEO and Founder says, “Most businesses know they should be doing more with mobile and social media.  I am hugely proud that our world-class team has created such a powerful, yet simple and fun way for businesses to engage with their customers and friends – while allowing each person to retain complete control about what they receive and from whom.  There’s nothing else like MePlease available today and I’m really excited about the ways in which businesses are already using the platform.”

MePlease offers businesses powerful new ways to connect with customers on their mobile, along with easy social media sharing.  Also, unlike mobile location or voucher-based applications, MePlease works on any phone and can connect with any business or service, from national brands like PizzaExpress to small businesses like some of the buildings currently on our MeStreet homepage.
