MePlease was named as one of the Top 50 Innovators in the UK by Mobile Entertainment. ME’s Top 50 Mobile Innovators project, sponsored by O2 BlueVia, was a quest to identify the most dynamic UK companies in the mobile content space – in areas such as gaming, loyalty, ticketing, payments, advertising, education, gifting and more. The winners were chosen by the ME team along with a panel of VCs, analysts and entrepreneurs.
MePlease was voted one of the top 3 UK start-ups in this year’s Vodafone Mobile Clicks competition. After competing against over 100 start-ups in the initial round, we were super pleased to be chosen as a top UK finalist in 2011.
MePlease’s CEO, Steve Jarrett, was featured in Forbes online magazine during Mobile World Congress last February. Steve spoke about the trends at MWC, including the implications of the growing divergence of mobile device types and operating systems being introduced into the market and how businesses need to focus in on a mobile web strategy.
Cian O’Sullvan’s article titled: ‘Restaurants and cinemas link up through SMS and mobile web marketing’ highlights the past campaign dynamics of our mobile social cross promotion with Tragus Group and Cineworld, which ran last fall.
